AOC Criticizes Republicans Citing Federal Debt

Rep.

Alexandria Ocaio-Cortez criticized Republicans, saying they are using the federal debt as an excuse.

She said they want to restrain the government from giving out more aid to average Americans rather than to large corporations.

Ocasio-Cortez called it “a bad faith argument,” saying they weren’t concerned about it when they gave money to corporations.

The nonpartisan congressional Budget Office said the federal deficit is projected to increase to $3.7 trillion for 2020.
