The sheep has been missing for more than seven years, after disappearing during a bushfire at her farm in Tasmania.
On Friday, (May 1) she was shorn for the first time.
Owner Alice Bennett said the family decided to use her wool to raise money for refugees who are particularly suffering at a time of global pandemic.
Prickles produced 13.6 kilograms of wool and the charity competition to guess that weight raised $7,700 for the UN's refugee agency, UNHCR.
The wool will now be used to produce items that will be auctioned off by UNHCR.
