White House Lays Out Testing Programs At The State-Level

The White House released a plan for state-level coronavirus testing programs. They will send states enough tests to screen 2 percent of their population each month.

According to Business Insider, it would take more than four years to test every American if the plan is followed through.

Experts believe widespread testing is needed to safely lift lockdowns across the U.S. Some experts think more attention is needed on follow up testing with isolation, contact tracing and quarantine.
