Amid lockdown, stranded Malaysian citizens board special flight from Amritsar

180 Malaysian citizens who had been stranded in India following the announcement of a 21 day lockdown have now been flown back home.

The Malaysians, most of who are of Indian origin, had come to visit religious sites in India.

They thanked the governments of the India and Malaysian and the police for helping them in this time of need.
