Jason, the council voted unanimously tonight to remove the charles town mall parcel from the tax rolls to resolve numerous accounting issues and to help the city financially.

The property, which is located on turner street, sits in two different municipalities, the city of utica and the town of frankfort.

The site has been empty for years and according to city officials, the owner of this property hasn't paid taxes in about 10 years, so it has become a huge e city.
