Influencer claims exercise saved her life after being diagnosed with cystic fibrosis aged 26

A fitness influencer claims her obsession with exercise has saved her life after she was diagnosed with incurable lung condition cystic fibrosis when she was 26.

Crystal Concha, 28, who regularly lifts more than her own body weight in the gym, only started taking medication for life-limiting CF two years ago.

Diagnosed in October 2017, finance relationship manager Crystal, of Los Angeles, refuses to be held back by statistics showing only half of sufferers live beyond 40, saying: “I went for 26 years without any medication to treat CF and I’m still here, fighting fit."
