Maggie Hoped Gary Would Change His Mind About the Breakup

While attending Danny's school performance, Gary (James Roday) and Maggie (Allison Miller) finally cross paths and get a chance to talk after their painful breakup.

Maggie shows genuine concern, but it's clear that Gary is still very angry about the whole thing.

Gary is clearly jealous of her friend Eric, on whom Maggie has been leaning since the split.

But Maggie while also wished that Gary would change his mind, his callous behavior makes that wish live only in the past tense.
