School pupil asks Jeremy Corbyn why he wants to be PM

Jeremy Corbyn visited Fulbridge Academy in Peterborough on Thursday as the Labour leader began a day of campaigning across the Midlands.

Shadow education secretary Angela Rayner has announced a multi-million-pound plan to โ€œpoverty proofโ€ schools.

Mr Corbyn took questions from schoolchildren and told one pupil that he wanted to be prime minister because he wanted to "change things in this country." Report by Jonesia.
