(SOUNDBITE) (English) REPORTER, ASKING TOTTENHAM MANAGER JOSE MOURINHO: "You've obviously got a very rich history in the Champions League, can you explain how you feel about this competition, how you feel Tottenham can do in this competition in this year?" MOURINHO: "I love the competition, in as much as everyone in football.

It's something that everybody dreams about winning, and not every has the privilege to be a Champions League winner which I was happy enough to do it twice.

Do I want to win for a third time, of course I would love it, but I know the difficulties of it and in this moment, honestly, it's not the moment to speak about it.

It's a moment to qualify.

I've plenty of experience in the competition, I think it's my game 148 and I think one of the reasons why my teams were never out in the group phase was exactly because we always thought about the group phase, and we never thought about what could happen after the group phase." 2.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) REPORTER, ASKING TOTTENHAM MANAGER JOSE MOURINHO: "Since you have rather a strong connection to Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is currently on the market, is there any possibility of him joining Tottenham any time soon?" MOURINHO: "You are right about the connection, I would say even more than connection.

I would say also passion and standing, amazing player, amazing guy, but I would say no.

I would say no chances.

We have the best striker in England, we have one of the top two or three strikers in the world.

It doesn't make any sense of a striker of Zlatan's dimension, obviously in his late thirties, but still a striker that can play in any club in the world, it doesn't make sense to come to a club where we have Harry Kane." 4.

JOSE MOURINHO TALKING TO HARRY KANE ON THE TRAINING PITCH, KANE WALKS AWAY NODDING AND SMILING STORY: Tottenham's new manager Jose Mourinho said that he does not think beyond the group stage of the Champions League and also denied that he is pursuing Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a potential signing because the Premier League club have a top striker in Harry Kane.

Spurs reached the Champions League final under Mauricio Pochettino last season but Mourinho, who replaced the Argentine manager last week, is not looking that far ahead.

"I think one of the reasons why my teams were never out in the group phase was exactly because we always thought about the group phase, and we never thought about what could happen after the group phase," said Mourinho who will be looking to guide his team into the knock-out phase of the Champions League when they take on Olympiacos in their Group B match on Tuesday (November 26).

A win against Olympiacos, or matching Red Star Belgrade's result against Bayern Munich also on Tuesday, will see last season's beaten finalists progress.

Mourinho then went on to deny he has any interest in signing Ibrahimovic.

"It doesn't make any sense for a striker of Zlatan's dimension to come to a club where we have Harry Kane," Mourinho said.

Ibrahimovic spent one-and-a-half seasons with Manchester United under Mourinho, where he scored 29 goals and helped the club win the League Cup and Europa League, before joining Los Angeles Galaxy.

The 38-year-old Swede, who also played under Mourinho at Inter Milan, is a free agent after leaving the MLS side this month.
