St. Joe Football's Season Ends In Regional Playoff

School football playoffs.

Our sean coffey, in wharton for st.

Joe vs.

Houston second baptist, tapps division two regional.

End of the first half, game still scoreless.

Second baptist knocking on the door of the red zone.

Quarterback josh johnson scrambles out of the pocket and hits grayson kim on the near sideline.

First down, eagles.

Very next play, johnson, going back to that same side of the field.

He finds jaylon coleman on a slant for the first points of the game.

7-0 s-b-s after the extra point.

So st joe gets the ball back down a score, just over a minute on the clock in the first half.

That's j'den miller with some nifty running.

A nice cutback and a first down for the flyers.

Next play, flyers in the hurry up.

The handoff goes to keaon griffin who looks like he's tied up but able to get to the outside.

Another flyer first down.

But after a costly holding penalty backed st joe up, they've got to air one out.

Jacob bordovsky, looking for miller but it's picked off by david nunez.

That would end the half as the eagles take a knee to run out the clock.

St.

Joe, unable to score in the first half, or the game.

They lose, 21-0, to finish with a 7-4 record.

5a division
