Central Valley High School classes were cut short when someone discovered a threat written in a school bathroom Friday.

Breaking news a violent threat on a bathroom wall at central valley high school cancelled classes while students evacuated.and they're not the only ones.

Just moments ago-- we learned east valley high school--also had a threat.... Warning students not to come to class on monday.

Let's start with the central valley evacuations today.

Ariana lake spoke with a freshman who was on campus when the lockdown and evacaution happened.

As you can imagine--it was a really stressful situation.

Authorities say they didn't find a weapon in the building--but they are searching for whoever wrote the threat.

13:04:34"we are such a big school, but it is such a really close community," Mandy may/cv freshman mandy may didn't expect it to happen here.

But this morning--a threat was found in her school's bathroom.

13:04:49 "it's crazy to think like, something like that can still happen and it could have happened today, which is scary," Mandy may/cv freshman the c-v- freshman texted her mom as soon as the lock down alarm blared.

12:58:27"told her to stay calm.

Told her to say her prayers and just keep me posted," Shannan may/mother soon the district cancelled classes.

Deputies escorted students out of the bulding.

They were told to leave their backpacks behind.

07:37:10 "moving around, obviously, with backpacks, not having an idea with 2thousand kids or whatever would not be appropriate," Mark gregory/sheriff's office cpl.

Mark gregory didn't explain exactly what the threat said.

But did say it ádidn't target a specific person.

07:36:34 "this is something that we will not tolerate.

If we can locate who wrote this, they will be prosecuted," Mark gregory/sheriff's officethe district took the threat so seriously, it bussed the kids 16 blocks away to a church, where parents picked them up.

13:00:00"i never thought as a parent that this would happen," Shannan may/mother despite what happened--mandy say's she's not afraid to return to school next week.

13:06:43" You shouldnt be afraid to live your life," Mandy may/cv freshman students can come back to the school tomorrow morning between 8 and ten to pick up their belongings.

Classes are expected to resume as normal on monday--but if that changes--we'll let you know right away.
