A new, larger, higher resolution video board is coming to ross-ade stadium.

Budget officials approved more then $34 million for improvements throughout purdue's campus.

$10 million of that is going toward the video board that will replace the 13-year-old one in the south end zone.

Construction will start once the boilermakers season is over.

Tom schott says this will be a game changer when it comes to game-day experiences.

For a long time, fans at the stadium felt they were short changed because folks at home were getting all these angles and reviews on their tv's that they weren't able to be shown when you are in person.

The new video board is expected to be done by the 2020 football season.

Purdue athletics will release mock-ups in the coming months.
