'I don't agree' with Trump's lynching tweet: McCarthy

When asked about U.S. President Donald Trump's use of "lynching" criticizing the Democrats' impeachment inquiry, House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday said "it's not the language" he would use.

Rough Cut (no reporter narration).

'I don't agree' with Trump's lynching tweet: McCarthy

Trump on Tuesday morning tweeted: "So some day, if a Democrat becomes President and the Republicans win the House, even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the President, without due process or fairness or any legal rights.

All Republicans must remember what they are witnessing here - a lynching.

But we will WIN!" When McCarthy was asked about the tweet, he replied: 'I don't agree with that language, it's pretty simple.'
