A drunken driver crashed into a school building in Beaver Dam late Wednesday night, causing structural damage, officials said.

A drunken driver is arrested after crashing into a school building in beaver dam late last night.

Beaver dam police were investigating a domestic disturbance, found a suspect vehicle, and attempted to stop it.

Police said the 22-year-old male driver refused to stop and fled at a high speed.

The vehicle left the road and hit the north wall of the beaver dam middle school.

The suspect suffered non- life-threatening injuries.

He was arrested and is facing multiple charges.

The beaver dam school district says the car hit an electrical transformer before hitting the buidling.

The district says there is structural damage to the building and the damage is estimated at
