Mississippi River Rises in Louisiana as Tropical Storm Barry Approaches

Water levels along the Mississippi River rose significantly on Saturday, July 13, Tropical Storm Barry edged towards Louisiana before making landfall as a hurricane at around 10 am.

This footage was shot on the banks of the river Arabi, Louisiana, and was shared about two hours before the storm made landfall.

The National Hurricane Center warned that the hurricane would bring dangerous storm surges, heavy rains, and flooding.
