(SOUNDBITE (English) U.S. PLAYER, MEGAN RAPINOE, SAYING: "Of course, we'll be watching, definitely.

Not only as a fan, obviously, but to see who we will face into the final.

In terms of what team, we don't really care.

We hope it's a great game tonight and I'm sure whatever team is in it with us, it will be a great final.

I do expect to be healthy for the final.

I'm feeling really good.

I had a good session today, I am feeling better every day so… It was really nothing too serious, but obviously with such a short time between the games, just wasn't able to go and felt like for myself and for the team it was the best to not even try.

So, I wasn't even really fit for selection." 2.

RAPINOE SPEAKING TO MEDIA 3.

(SOUNDBITE (English) U.S. PLAYER, MEGAN RAPINOE, SAYING: "Wah, wah, wah… I mean, it's like, we're at the World Cup, what do you want us to do?

This is the biggest stage, the biggest moment.

I don't think anyone truly believes that we disrespect the game or disrespect our opponents.

We have the utmost respect for England and every team that we've faced and every team that we will face forever and ever.

That's just part of the DNA of the squad.

And with that said, we work hard, we like to play hard and we like to have fun, and enjoy ourselves and these are the absolute biggest moments to do that.'' STORY: United States winger Megan Rapinoe said she "expects to be healthy" for the World Cup final on Sunday (July 7) when the U.S. will look to defend their title.

Rapinoe sat out the U.S.'s impressive semi-final win against England on Tuesday (July 2) with a minor hamstring injury.

Rapinoe was on the training pitch with the squad just outside Lyon on Wednesday (July 3) as she and the squad prepare for Netherlands who defeated Sweden in second semi-final on Wednesday night.

Rapinoe also seemed to play down criticisms that have been levelled at striker Alex Morgan who created a stir with her goal celebration on Tuesday when she ran to the sideline and stopped to sip an imaginary cup of tea, sparking a slew of memes and American Revolution references on social media.

"Wah, wah, wah… I mean, it's like, we're at the World Cup, what do you want us to do?

This is the biggest stage, the biggest moment.

I don't think anyone truly believes that we disrespect the game or disrespect our opponents.

We have the utmost respect for England and every team that we've faced and every team that we will face forever and ever," Rapinoe said.
