VARIOUS PLAYERS FIELDING GROUND BALLS STORY: The Boston Red Sox got down to business on Friday (June 28) preparing for a London Series of games against the New York Yankees.

The defending Major League Baseball World Series champions are sitting in third place in the American League east, six and a half games behind the red hot Yankees who have won nine of their last ten games.

The rivals will meet in a two game set June 29-30 at the London Stadium, the former Olympic Stadium built for the 2012 Summer Games and now home to Premier League soccer team West Ham United.

Red Sox players had a day of touring the British capital on Thursday but were back at practice on Friday and in a much more serious mood than their division leading opponents who held a comparatively light-hearted session with the media.
