Reading To The Dog May Improve Your Child's Reading Skills

Dogs are man's best friend and it turns out they may be excellent reading partners too.

For kids who might need some extra help getting the words off the page, a new study shows that our K9 companion may be able to help.

The UC Davis study found that children who read aloud to a dog improved their reading skills by 12 percent over kids who only read to adults.

According to LifeHacker.com, therapy pets allow kids to focus on the animal instead of their own fears and insecurities.
