Groups Sues Trump Administration Over US Census Citizenship Question

An immigrant advocacy group sued the Trump administration in 2018 over a 2020 U.S. census question.

They said Republicans wanted a citizenship question in the census to draw favorable electoral maps.

According to Reuters, the lawsuit claims the administration concealed evidence in its proposal.

A Supreme Court final ruling will be decided by the end of June on whether the question will be added to the census.
