Missouri senators are considering one of the nation's most restrictive proposed abortion bans.
Missouri's republican-led senate is pushing legislation to ban most abortions after eight weeks before friday's deadline to pass bills.
If approved, missouri would join four other states that have passed bans on abortions once a fetal heartbeat can be detected.
The head start program in vernon county and eight other counties in west central missouri will continue operations with no interruptions.
The "west central missouri community action agency" held the contract for the head start program for fifty-three years--but recently lost it.
Officials with the agency now say three counties, will be going to an unnamed agency, and the six remaining counties, will be temporarily run by an organization out of denver, colorado.

The property is owned by ledford construction, the company plans to build houses there in the near future.
They say they are allowing another company to use a portion of the property to store equipment.
The agreement was the other company would maintain the property in exchange for the storage space.
