White House Invokes 'Executive Privilege' As House Panel Takes Aim At Attorney General

According to a report by Reuters, on Wednesday, the White House invoked 'executive privilege' to block the release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's full Russia report as a Democratic-led US congressional panel moved toward holding Attorney General William Barr in contempt for refusing to turn over the document.

Barr reportedly refused to comply with a House Judiciary Committee subpoena to provide an unredacted version of the report, as well as, underlying evidence.
