U.S. Job Growth Up, Unemployment Rate Down

According to Reuters, in April U.S. job growth surged and unemployment dipped to 3.6 percent.

That is a 49-year unemployment rate low, which Reuters says suggests solid economic growth.

Reuters explains, "The Labour Department’s closely watched monthly employment report on Friday, however, showed steady wage gains last month, consistent with moderate inflation.
