NASA Twins Study Shows How Scott Kelly Changed In Space

NASA performed a meticulous study to start figuring out what happens to our bodies if we live in space for long periods of time.

For the study, NASA employed 50-year-old twin astronauts Scott and Mark Kelly.

In 2015, Scott spent a year in space aboard the International Space Station while Mark stayed on Earth.

NASA found that Scott was about as mentally, physically, and genetically healthy as his brother upon his return.

The study is only the start of examining human health in space since the twins are the very epitome of a small sample size.
