Nipsey Hussle's Music Sales Surge After His Death The rapper was fatally shot this past Sunday in Los Angeles.

Since Sunday, 15,000 copies of Hussle's 2018 album, 'Victory Lap,' have been bought.

Before his death, sales for the record were so small that Nielsen didn't have any information on it.

On iTunes, 'Victory Lap' became the top album on Wednesday.

The 33-year-old's audio streams also rose to 10 million on Sunday.

The following day it went up to 57 million streams. Before Sunday's fatal shooting, the Grammy nominee averaged nearly two million streams. For video, streaming jumped nearly 10 million on Sunday.

On Monday and Tuesday this week, sales for his songs totaled 94,000.

That's up from 14,000 on Sunday.
