Trump Says He Will Investigate Unnamed 'Political Enemies'

According to Reuters, after being cleared by Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report of collusion with Russian in the 2016 U.S. election, President Donald Trump on Monday vowed to investigate unnamed political enemies who did what he called “evil” and “treasonous things.” No allegations of criminal wrongdoing were brought against the president at the end of a nearly two-year-long probe.

U.S. Attorney General William Barr released a four-page summary on Sunday of the findings of the investigation.

Trump told reporters, “There are a lot of people out there that have done some very, very evil things, very bad things, I would say treasonous things against our country." Senator Lindsey Graham told reporters he would ask Barr to appoint a special counsel to investigate the origins of the Russia probe.

Trump said Monday without naming anyone, “Those people will certainly be looked at.

I’ve been looking at them for a long time.

And I’m saying: Why haven’t they been looked at?

They lied to Congress.

Many of them.

You know who they are.”
