US Department Of Defense Gives Border Wall Project $1 Billion In Funding

The U.S. Department of Defense is moving $1 billion towards border reinforcement.

This include “pedestrian fencing,” roads and lighting along a 57-mile section of the border.

The Pentagon recently gave Congress a list with $12.8 billion of construction projects.

According to Reuters, some of those funds could be redirected for the U.S.-Mexico border.

Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan said the Department of Defense can support counter-narcotics activities.
