The Midwest Is Being Devastated By Record Flooding

According to Business Insider, record flooding across the Midwest has damaged agricultural fields and killed livestock.

Experts say that farmers in the region will face hundreds of millions of dollars worth of damage.

So far, Nebraska has been bearing the brunt of the pain, where officials estimate $450 million worth of crops could be compromised.

Earlier this week, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts said total losses in the state are currently thought to be around $1.4 billion.
