Firefighters Rescue Dogs From Kennels Amid Severe Flooding in Southern Italy

Emergency services in Italy said 250 dogs were rescued from flooded kennels in the Calabria region on October 5 as severe flooding continued to affect the south of the country.The flooding prompted emergency evacuations and flight cancellations, local reports said.

Officials said a mother and son were killed in the town of Lamezia Terme after getting caught in the floodwater.This footage was shared by the Italyโ€™s fire service, who said it was filmed as the dogs were rescued from a kennel in Ciro Marina, Calabria, on Friday.
