In Warning For Trump, Democrats Claim Too-Close-To-Call Pennsylvania Vote

Democrats claimed victory in a special congressional election in Pennsylvania despite the vote officially remaining too close to call.

The election took place in a Pennsylvania Republican heartland and has been viewed as a referendum on Trump’s performance.

Eight months before national midterm elections, moderate Democrat Conor Lamb led conservative Republican Rick Saccone by a fraction of a percentage point.

The strong showing by Lamb encouraged Democrats nationwide as they hope to win control of U.S House of Representatives..
