U.N. concerned by U.S. curbs on Iranian foreign minister while in New York

The United Nations told the United States it is concerned by tight travel restrictions on Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif during his visit to New York this week, U.N. spokesman Farhan Haq said on Monday.

Trump To Work With Rand Paul On New Iran Deal
Politico reports that President Donald Trump is trying to reach a new deal with Iran. He has chosen Rand Paul to help broker a back channel deal. Paul suggested being the conduit between the US and Iran over a round of golf this past weekend. Trump gave Paul his blessing for the sensitive diplomatic mission. Paul proposed sitting down with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif to extend a fresh olive branch on the presidentโ€™s behalf. The aim is to reduce tensions between the two countries.
