In a move aimed at reinvigorating the H-1B visa renewal process, the U.S. Department of State is launching a pilot programme designed to assess its technical and operational capabilities in handling domestic visa renewals. This initiative, set to roll out in phases, will initially accommodate 20,000 applicants and is exclusively open to individuals from India and Canada.
