Wrestlers protest: Delhi Police SIT likely to submit investigation report next week, WFI elections to be held by June 30

The protesting wrestlers on Wednesday agreed to suspend their agitation till June 15 after the government assured them of filing a chargesheet against outgoing WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

The Delhi Police has reportedly asked two top women wrestlers who have accused the WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan SIngh of groping and sliding his hand to the stomach--on the pretext of checking their breathing--to share audio, video, or photos as evidence. The city police have also asked the two wrestlers to submit the photo of a "hug" that Singh is said to have given one of the complainants that were red-flagged in the FIR.
