Dharmendra Pradhan urges Naveen Patnaik to restore DBT for social security pension

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday wrote a letter to chief minister Naveen Patnaik urging him to reconsider the recent decision of the state government to disburse monthly social security pension in cash. Instead, the minister suggested continuing with the practice of direct benefit transfer (DBT).
