Fasal ties up with IMD for research in weather forecast models

A trough from west Rajasthan to Gangetic West Bengal will bring rain, thunder, and lightning to Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha, according to IMD's report.

IMD predicted heavy rainfall in Bihar between June 23-26, Jharkhand between June 24-25 and Odisha and Chhattisgarh between June 22 to June 26.

An orange alert has been issued for Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg for today by IMD. Heavy to very heavy rain is likely at isolated places.

IMD said the southwest monsoon will reach Delhi around its usual date, that is June 27, and the rain deficit will be compensated for by June end.
