Karnataka Assembly Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar Thursday moved the Supreme Court against its order asking him to take a decision on the resignation of 10 rebel Congress and JD(S) MLAs during the course of the day.

IN ANOTHER TWIST IN THE ONGOING KARNATAKA POLITICAL CRISIS, THE SPEAKER KR RAMESH KUMAR REJECTED THE RESIGNATIONS OF 8 REBEL MLAs FOR THEIR LETTERS WERE NOT IN THE PROPER FORMAT. THIS GIVES THE COALITION PARTNERS SOME BREATHING TIME..THE SPEAKER ALSO ASKED 5 MLAs WHOSE RESIGNATIONS ARE IN ORDER TO MEET HIM PERSONALLY ON FRIDAY AND MONDAY. THE CONG IS SEEKING DISQUALIFICATION OF ALL REBEL MLAs FOR ANTI-PARTY ACTIVITIES.
