Wholesale inflation hits 13-month high

Wholesale price inflation surged to a 13-month high in April, driven by fuel, power, and food prices. The Commerce and Industry Ministry reported a 1.3% increase in the Wholesale Price Index (WPI), attributed to rising prices of food articles, electricity, and crude & gas.
