'Reputation' Sales Skyrockets, But Taylor Swift Can't Quite Kick Adele Off Her Throne

Wochit Headline News - Tuesday, 14 November 2017

Nielsen Music says Taylor Swift’s new album “Reputation” sold more than one million copies in its first five days. However, the U.S.

pop star failed to beat the record set by Britain’s Adele two years ago.

Now 27, Swift has stuck with the Nashville-based independent label Big Machine Records since her career began.

She now has four albums that have sold more than one million copies in their first week -- “1989,” “Red,” and “Speak Now.”.
