The third phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 7 covers 94 constituencies across various states, with key constituencies and candidates like Amit Shah, Digvijaya Singh, and Supriya Sule drawing attention.

NEW DELHI: Voting for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections, encompassing 12 states and Union territories, is slated to commence on May 7. A total of 93 constituencies will go to polls on Tuesday. BJP has already won Surat constituency in Gujarat, unopposed.
After the conclusion of voting in two phases of the Lok Sabha elections on April 19 and April 26, the stage is all set for the third phase of the 18th Lok Sabha elections, which will take place on May 7.
In the third phase, 2 seats of Goa, 25 seats of Gujarat, 7 seats of Chhattisgarh, and 14 seats in Karnataka will be up for the contest. With this, elections in these states will be over. Previously, 14 seats in Karnataka were contested during the second phase on April 26. Voting for two Lok Sabha seats in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu is also scheduled for Tuesday.
Besides these, voting will be held for 4 seats of Assam, 5 seats of Bihar, 7 seats of Chhattisgarh, 8 seats of Madhya Pradesh, 11 of Maharashtra, 10 of Uttar Pradesh, and 4 of West Bengal. The polling date for the Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat in Jammu and Kashmir has been rescheduled to May 25, phase 6.

Assam: 4 out of the state’s 14 seats (Dhubri, Kokrajhar, Barpeta, Gauhati)
Bihar: 5 out of the state’s 40 seats (Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Araria, Madhepura, Khagaria)
Chhattisgarh: 7 out of the state’s 11 seats (Sarguja, Raigarh, Janjgir-Champa, Korba, Bilaspur, Durg, Raipur)
Dadra and Nagar Haveli: The union territory’s sole seat (Dadra and Nagar Haveli)

Daman and Diu: The union territory’s sole seat (Daman and Diu)
Goa: All 2 of the state’s seats (North Goa, South Goa)
Gujarat: 25 out of the state’s 26 seats (Kachchh, Banaskantha, Patan, Mahesana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad East, Ahmedabad West, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Anand, Kheda, Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Chhota Udaipur, Bharuch, Bardoli, Surat Navsari, Valsad)
Karnataka: 14 out of the state's 28 seats (Chikkodi, Belgaum, Bagalkot, Bijapur, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bidar, Koppal, Bellary, Haveri, Dharwad, Uttara Kannada, Davangere, Shimoga)
Madhya Pradesh: 9 out of the state’s 29 seats (Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Sagar, Vidisha, Bhopal, Rajgarh, Betul)
Maharashtra: 11 out of the state’s 48 seats (Baramati, Raigad, Dharashiv, Latur (SC), Solapur (SC), Madha, Sangli, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Kolhapur, Hatkanangle)
Uttar Pradesh: 10 out of the state's 80 seats (Sambhal, Hathras, Agra (SC), Fatehpur Sikri, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etah, Budaun, Aonla, Bareilly)
