  1. Bye for now

So, that's all from another exciting day of Premier League action, which left the title race as still very much a three-way thing after Liverpool won at Fulham to go back above Manchester City and level with leaders Arsenal.

Earlier on, Champions League hopefuls Aston Villa beat Bournemouth while Crystal Palace thumped West Ham 5-2 and Everton claimed a huge win at the bottom of the table, beating relegation rivals Nottingham Forest 2-0.

There was also drama in the FA Cup today but we'll be back on Tuesday as the title race continues with Arsenal hosting Chelsea. Hope you'll be back with us then.

  2. 'A three-horse title race is very rare - I'm certainly enjoying it'

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

    Liverpool

On Liverpool's recent poor run and bouncing back, Liverpool goalscorer Trent Alexander-Arnold added to BBC's Match of the Day: "It's been a very tough couple of weeks - a bad run of games, bad run of form, bad run of results - so it's good to be able to turn that and flip that on its head.

"It was important for us to do that. We knew going into this that we had six games left where we feel as if we have to win every single one to stand a chance to win anything. So it was an important game and there are five more now.

"It's going to be a difficult week with two more away games but we're confident that if we can replicate what we did today then we should be able to get results. We have to expect five wins from five now to even stand a chance of being able to pick up silverware in a few weeks.

"It's exciting, though. You've got three teams who are playing outstanding football and I think, for a neutral, it's got to be one of the most exciting seasons. It's very rare you see a three-horse title race and I'm certainly enjoying it, as much pressure as there is. But these are the games you love to play in and they are the ones that matter the most."

  3. 'It's good to play football, man. It's the best thing to do'

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool goalscorer Trent Alexander-Arnold speaking to BBC's Match of the Day about his free-kick: "It felt good and it looked good, from what I saw - the lads told me it was very good! You can tell from their smiles and how excited they are that it was a good finish. It was exciting to score again.

"It's been a tough couple of months for me - not being able to play and do what I love - so it's an amazing feeling to be back out there. I'm enjoying my football and feeling like I'm playing well, as well. It's good to play football, man. It's the best thing to do."

  4. Man City 'won't care' about Liverpool's results

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

    Liverpool

On the title race, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp told Sky Sports: "This is the strongest league in the world, the hardest league in the world, and we're in this with two sensational football teams. Sometimes, we have to get momentum back and now we need to play every three days."

On how important it is to get another win before Manchester City next play: "I get 'scoreboard pressure' but do you think Man City care? I don't care. We focus on ourselves. I say everything I think will help, I'm not sure this will help. It's a really tough game. We face Everton, which is not a normal game. It will be tricky but we will give it a go."

  5. 'Sometimes making changes doesn't work out, today it helped'

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

    Liverpool

On making his most changes between Premier League games (six), Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp added to Sky Sports: "All of these boys have massive quality. Sometimes the momentum is there, but the quality is insane. Unfortunately, it doesn't work out like that sometimes. It's helped us, helped everybody and [we had] a really good feeling. We didn't go through against Atalanta [on Thursday] but the performance was alright. The result was alright but today was better."

  6. 'It's a good squad situation, we need all of them'

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp speaking to Sky Sports: "We won our last two away games, can I ask for more? Besides the last 10 minutes in the first half, we did extremely well. The boys played a really good football game. Historically, we've struggled here much more. Today, we did much better. Scoring goals is the most important [thing], having chances - we really liked the game."

On scoring seven goals against Fulham in the Premier League this season: "Unfortunately we played all the others [too]. In periods where you don't score, it's easy to talk about. For the boys, it's tough. You have to get through this. I liked the performance, I liked the options. It's a good squad situation. We need all of them, we need to fight through games and we have the derby to focus on."

  7. Reds return to form with fine win at Fulham

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

    Michael Beardmore

    BBC Sport

Liverpool put a frustrating fortnight behind them to reignite their Premier League title bid with a welcome win at Fulham.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, making a first league start in more than two months, curled a fabulous first-half free-kick into the top corner to put them ahead.

Timothy Castagne steered Fulham level before the break but Ryan Gravenberch's perfectly-measured 20-yard effort flew in off the post to restore the Reds' advantage.

Diogo Jota sealed the points with an accurate low finish past Bernd Leno from Cody Gakpo's through ball and the margin of victory could arguably have been greater.

  8. 'In our minds, title rivals won't drop points'

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Trent Alexander-Arnold to Sky Sports on Wednesday's Merseyside derby: "Already it is exciting. When it comes to derbies, football kind of goes out of the window. It is who wants to win it more. They've got a good result today, we've got a good result. It will be two teams in decent form."

On the title race: "I think at this point of the season, in our minds, they won't drop points. We need to be in a position similar to last week. We kicked ourselves. If anyone drops points around us, we need to be in the best position we can aim for. Five out of five wins is the aim for us."

  9. 'Klopp has told me to play more central'

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

    Liverpool

On dropping between Liverpool's centre-backs, Trent Alexander-Arnold added to Sky Sports: "I think the more and more I'm playing in the middle of the pitch, the tighter and more compact I'm finding it. The manager has told me to get into that position to try to get on the ball and find those passes over the top."

On his role: "There has to be discipline in there. The rest of the team have to go and do that, move around. Within that, there's freedom and space to go in there. At this point of the season, we've got nothing to lose. We need to chase the goal difference. It's positive, it's a big thing and it is a tough position for us."

  10. 'Practice pays off on days like today'

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold on whether he was always taking his free-kick after Harvey Elliott's hit the wall moments earlier: "Of course. At that point, there was no question. The second was always going to be mine. We did our analysis yesterday, we saw they jump quite a bit. Harvey had the right idea, just not the execution..

On his free-kick technique: "The technique I use, it generates the power itself. I just try to guide it and make it hard for the goalkeeper.

"You get one chance in a game to execute it for the team. Practice, practice, practice and it pays off on days like today."

  11. We need five big wins - Alexander-Arnold

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold speaking to Sky Sports: "[That was] huge. At this point of the season, you don't [always] get the results you want. It was a very important result for us. We saw Arsenal win last night, it was a big one. We need five big ones, five finals."

On the game: "They get a goal just before half-time and it dampens the mood, changes the team talk. We came out, and played the way we wanted. Ryan got the second goal and Jota does what he does for the third."

  12. 'We want to stay in title race'

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp added to Match of the Day: "Fulham usually cause us more problems so it was a good performance at the right moment.

"We want to stay in that [title] race, that's clear. Arsenal won last night, Manchester City will win their game in hand, so we know we have to win games and that's what we'll try [to do]."

On making six changes: "I said before the game that I hate thinking about the game after the game we play [next], but we play Sunday-Wednesday-Saturday and we cannot ignore that fact. We played on Thursday so we have to use the boys.

"It's the best squad situation we've had so far this season, I hope it stays like that. We had to bring the boys [in], that's how it is. In three days we play another game so let's see who lines up there. I got exactly what I wanted but I'm not surprised about that. The boys are good."

On players like Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota returning from injury: "The other boys did extremely well in that period but, of course, having those boys back is extremely helpful. The boys are brilliant footballers, they just have to keep working and then, all of a sudden, everybody can see it again."

  13. 'We were really good for 80 minutes'

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp speaking to Match of the Day: "For 80 minutes we played a really good game. I didn't like too much about the last 10 minutes of the first half. We controlled it a bit in the wrong way and they scored the goal as well, but that's alright because I loved the second half.

"We could show again what we did really well in the first half - how we played in and around our formation, how flexible we were, how we kept the ball, created, and scored some good goals. We had some massive chances on top of that too. It was a really good game in a, so far, super intense week. It doesn't stop yet so we'll keep going. The boys did really well."

  14. Liverpool's goalscorer stats

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

    • Trent Alexander-Arnold scored his sixth direct free-kick goal in the Premier League; only Jamie Redknapp (8) and Steven Gerrard (7) have more for Liverpool.
    • Ryan Gravenberch's goal, assisted by Harvey Elliott, was the first time Liverpool had a Premier League goal both scored and assisted by players aged 21 or younger since November 2014 against Chelsea (Emre Can assisted by Raheem Sterling)
    • Diogo Jota scored the 100th goal of his English club career in all competitions across his time at Wolves (44) and Liverpool (56)
  15. What's next?

    FT: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

Joint-leaders Liverpool and Arsenal both have five games left in the title race - and they both play again in the league before Manchester City do.

Arsenal host Chelsea on Tuesday (20:00 BST) and Liverpool make the short trip to face derby rivals Everton on Wednesday (20:00) before City visit Brighton on Thursday (20:00).

  16. FULL-TIME

    Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

That's it, all over - Liverpool are back to winning ways.

If Arsenal are still in the title race then you can bet Jurgen Klopp's side are too.

They're now level at the top of the Premier League table, one point ahead of Manchester City, who have a game in hand.

  17. Post update

    Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

Mohamed Salah tries to square for Darwin Nunez but there's a bit too much on it and it goes beyond his fellow forward.

  18. Post update

    Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

Harvey Elliott would love a goal today. But think he'll have to settle for that assist to Ryan Gravenberch earlier.

The former Fulham midfielder hits a tame effort wide from the edge of the box as the game moves into stoppage time.

  19. Post update

    Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

Alisson dives low to his left to keep out a Tom Cairney strike before getting up to put pressure on Rodrigo Muniz as the Brazilian turns the rebound into the side-netting.

  20. SUBSTITUTION

    Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

Another change by Liverpool as stoppage time approaches, with Dominik Szoboszlai replacing Cody Gakpo.
