itel has launched a new phone that lets you make payments through the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), costing Rs 1,799. It is called the itel Super Guru 4G, a feature phone. Much like other feature phones, the Super Guru 4G cannot support most smart features, but if you are looking for select functionalities such as making QR-based payments, 4G VoLTE calling, and YouTube, this itel phone can be a good option.
The Super Guru 4G costs Rs 1,799 and has a single storage model. However, customers can choose from a range of colour options: green, black, and dark blue. The feature phone is available to buy from the company’s official website, but it will also go on sale on shopping websites and retail stores across the country.
— The new itel Super Guru 4G has a 2-inch non-touchscreen display, but it is big enough to perform things like scanning a QR code to make payments.
— There is a VGA camera on the phone’s back, which helps in the payment process. Customers can click photos, as well, but the quality of the photos will not be good.
— The Super Guru 4G supports dual SIM cards with 4G VoLTE support and 3G/2G.
— The 1000mAh battery inside this feature phone can give users a backup of up to 6 days on a single charge. The charger will be available inside the box.
— Customers can also use cloud-based YouTube and watch YouTube shorts on this phone, as well as access BBC News in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.
— The Super Guru 4G also has support for the LetsChat instant messaging app and games such as Tetris, 2048, and Sokoban.
— Customers can choose their preferred language to operate the phone. It supports 13 Indian languages.
— There is also a King Voice feature on the Super Guru 4G, which allows typing using voice.
