'Crew' director Rajesh A Krishnan lauds Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu for their camaraderie

The highly anticipated film ‘Crew,’ starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma, is set to hit theaters this Friday. Amidst the buzz surrounding the star-studded cast, director Rajesh A Krishnan shared insights into the camaraderie among the leading ladies.
In an interview with News18 Showsha, Krishnan dispelled any notions of ego clashes, highlighting the seamless rapport between Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti on set.Despite the common occurrence of ego tussles in multi-starrer films, Krishnan said that the atmosphere during the production of ‘Crew’ was vibrant and harmonious. He added that even if there were any tussles, he simply isn't aware of them.

The director humorously recounted instances where he had to intervene to halt the chatting between the actresses, jokingly referring to them as "children" caught up in their camaraderie. He praised the trio for their mutual respect and professionalism, which contributed to the film's positive work environment.
Further, he mentioned observing the three distinct acting styles with the leading ladies, each bringing a unique essence to their performances. He commended Tabu for her ability to internalize emotions effortlessly and Kareena for her keen interest in understanding the director's vision. On the other hand, he appreciated Kriti’s meticulous approach to her engineering background, noting her attention to detail in character development. He applauded her dedication to understanding her role thoroughly.

Though it is not uncommon for a director to speak highly of his cast, the bond between the three stars - Kareena, Kriti, and Tabu was quite evident during the trailer launch and other promotional activities. Last evening Kareena and Kriti even joined Diljit Dosanjh’s live session, where Rhea Kapoor was also present. On the Instagram live as well all the stars were in perfect harmony, and they made sure to take time out from their busy schedules.
