Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malvika Mohanan’s Yudhra went through reshoots, to FINALLY release soon: Exclusive!

About three years ago, Farhan Akhtar under his banner Excel Entertainment announced a new film called Yudhra which has Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malvika Mohanan in the lead. Sharing the teaser of the film Farhan wrote ,"Death is no stranger to him. He is a man at war. #Yudhra." The film is directed by Ravi Udyawar who made his debut into films with Sridevi’s Mom .
Yudhra's story and screenplay are written by Farhan Akhtar and Sridhar Raghavan ( Writer of War and Pathaan) . The film also stars Raghav Juyal, Ram Kapoor, Gajraj Rao, Raj Arjun, and Shilpa Shukla.
During the announcement it was shared that the film would be releasing in 2022, but till now the release date of the film has not been announced. In fact on Tuesday, it was announced that the film would be released on Prime Video after its theatrical run.
Now sources have exclusively told ETimes that one of the reasons for the delay in the film is that after seeing the rushes of the film, the makers felt there was something missing, and instead of offering a half baked project, they decided to go in for re-shoots of some portions. Our source also revealed that re-shoots happened last year, and now everything is complete and the film has reached the VFX stage and hopefully the makers will very soon announce the release date for the film.
