Shinde faction challenges order in HC

Bharat Gogawale on Monday approached the Bombay High Court challenging the “legality, propriety and correctness” of assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar’s order dismissing the disqualification petition submitted by him against 14 Sena (UBT) MLAs, including Sunil Prabhu. “The final order, dated January 10, by the speaker erroneously concludes that the grounds as raised by the petitioner are mere allegations and assertions on the part of the petitioner.
