World Cup 2023: Kareena Kapoor Khan praises Virat Kohli on his 50th ODI century

India made it to the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup final after a commanding performance in the semi-finals against New Zealand. The Men in Blue clinched victory by 70 runs at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, with Virat Kohli playing a pivotal role. Kohli's exceptional innings not only propelled India to the final but also marked his 50th ODI century, surpassing the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.From Sachin Tendulkar to Ajay Devgn, many celebrities have showered praises on Virat for his achievement. Kareena Kapoor, expressing her admiration, took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of Virat Kohli along with a heartfelt message: "There is only one, and there will never be another," she wrote before tagging Virat and Anushka Sharma.
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma, Virat's wife, who was enthusiastically supporting the batsman, shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram Stories following the match. She wrote “God is the best scriptwriter. Utterly grateful to him for blessing me with your love, and to watch you grow from strength to strength and achieve all that you have and will, being honest to yourself and to the sport always. You are truly God’s child. ”
At the end of India’s innings, Virat addressed his achievement, he said, “It’s the stuff of dreams. Sachin paaji was there in the stands. It’s very difficult for me to express it. “I couldn’t be happier that an Indian broke my record. And to do it on the biggest stage – in the World Cup Semi-final – and at my home ground is the icing on the cake,” Tendulkar added.
